A week ago today I had my last day at Autohost.
In lieu of a sappy post about how much I’ll miss the team and how proud I am of everything we’ve accomplished together (both 100% true), I’m going to share some of my favourite learnings from the past 5 years.
Here we go:
1. The internet is fake. (Anton)
2. I’m smart, I can figure it out. (Also Anton)
3. Don’t know what to do? Make a decision. (Anton again)
4. If the issue isn’t documented, it doesn’t exist. (Roy)
5. Learning Excel gives you superhuman powers. (Ela)
6. No moment is too serious for a dad joke. (Roy)
7. Everything is fine (even when it’s not). (Ela)
8. If you’re not having fun, it’s not worth it. (Roy)
9. When it comes to feedback, don’t beat around the bush. (This one’s all three)
10. Celebrate everyday. If it’s the perfect day for kitesurfing, go kitesurfing! (Anton)
Thanks for the last 5 years, Autohost. It’s been a ride and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.
